How we use operational data

Gangal Recruitment Ltd keeps records of how our work runs — requests and quotes, shifts and timesheets, ratings and survey answers, problems on shifts and how they were solved, invoices and payments. We use these records to run and improve our service.

We also create de-identified versions of these records. Names, contact details, addresses, postcodes, dates of birth, nationality, documents, NI numbers and bank details are removed first, and identities are replaced with codes that cannot be traced back outside Gangal. We may combine de-identified data and license or sell it to other organisations, including companies developing artificial intelligence, in the UK or abroad.

• Workers: we only include your records where you have given the separate, optional consent described on the consent page. You can withdraw at any time; it never affects the work we offer you. Records already anonymised cannot be linked back to you and are kept.
• Business clients: use of de-identified Operational Data is part of our Terms of Business (clause 9A).
• We never include health information, ethnicity, religion, criminal records or the contents of identity documents.
